On Sunday the I Play Fair Team participated in the Cape Town Cycle Tour, the world’s largest individually times cycle race. The South African Rugby Legends Association cycled as part of the I Play Fair Team to once again bring awareness to anti-doping in all forms of sport, from top level all the way down to grassroots level.
Springbok Rugby Legends Marius Hurter, Tiaan Strauss, Stefan Terblanche and World Cup Winning Springbok and Sharks Captain John Smit all formed part of the team together with Dale Santon, who used the event as part of his aim to lose weight and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The Springbok Rugby Legends were joined by South African Institute for Drug Free Sport CEO Khalid Galant, former rugby international referee Jonathan Kaplan and Austrian Leo Hillinger who made up the rest of the team.
Well done to the I Play Fair Team for finishing the Cape Town Cycle Tour and congratulations to overall winner Nolan Hoffman who finished with a time of 1:1:49.2 seconds.
